Tackle it Tuesday! Charity Shop Drop-off

It is Tackle it Tuesday at 5 minutes for mom.

This week I was working on little things that work toward our goal of moving to the UK. One task that both DH and I have been putting off is sorting out the garage. So our tackle today was to make a start on this, nd boy does it feel good! So good in fact, that we have agreed to do at least one bag/box per day.

Today we went through our books stored in the garage (we have hundreds!) and although we have many, many boxes still to go through, I am hapy to report that we made a drop off to the local charity shop of TWO big bags of books!

The garage is easier to access already and I am inspired to get this garage sorted! Thanks 5minutesformum, for without this challenge I am sure we would still be tripping over on the way to the car!

Great tackle! Just think of all the people who will benefit from your generosity.

I'm still trying to convince my husband that, although our old things are of no value to us, someone somewhere might just treasure them. He thinks it's easier and better to just dump everything in the trash (awful, I know).

I really ought to get a charity shop run done at some point. We have one drawer that we keep for the things the boys grow out of, and then bag up when it's full. Well, it's full!

Great tackle!! Isn't it strange how the tackling is contagious?

Great tackle and just think how much joy someone else will have with those books. Come see what I tackled.

Great job! I don't even do Ebay selling or consignment. I usually just take it straight to the DAV.
